COMMERCIAL ROOF INSTALLATION

Commercial roof installations are a big investment for your business. And you have many options when it comes to a commercial roof installation.

COMMERCIAL ROOF INSTALLATION

Commercial Flat Roof Installation

Many commercial buildings utilize flat roofs due to their low installation costs and easy accessibility for maintenance and repair. While they are called “flat roofs,” a properly constructed flat roof is never actually flat. Most roofs are installed with slopes between 2 and 10 degrees to prevent problems and damage that result from pooling water.

Commercial Built Up Roof Installation

Commercial built up roofs are comprised of several layers of waterproofing material made of hot tar and roofing felt.  While the installation of commercial built up roofs can be smelly and messy, they are inexpensive to install, fire resistant, and can last for over 10 years.

Commercial Single-Ply Roof Installation

As the name implies, a commercial single-ply roof is made of a single layer of roofing material.  The preferred materials for single-ply roof installations include ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), or thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO).  Because they consist of only a single layer, the downside to installing single-ply roofs is that they are more easily damaged or punctured than a roof where multiple layers have been installed.  However, single-ply roofs are made to be strong and flexible. They are easy to install and can last from 20-30 years under normal weather conditions.

Asphalt Roll Roof installation

Asphalt roof installations are one of the oldest roofing solutions that are still installed today.  They consist of a simple flat layer of granulated roofing, which makes them cheap and very easy to install.  However, they generally only last about 10 years.

Every roofing project is different and costs vary based on the conditions of the existing roof and the thickness of the materials required for the new commercial roof installation.
